Slab work is the core of what a concrete contractor does, and it's where the difference between a good crew and a cheap one is biggest. A slab that's out of level, under-reinforced or poured on loose fill makes every trade after it miserable, and the homeowner pays for it in cracked tile and doors that won't close. We treat every slab like a foundation, because it is one.

We pour monolithic slabs for new houses, additions and barndominiums, where the footing and the floor go down as one piece. We pour garage and workshop floors, shed and carport pads, and foundations for metal buildings and pole barns, where the anchor bolt layout and the edge thickening have to match the building manufacturer's drawings exactly. We also pour footings and stem-wall slabs for block construction, and the elevated slabs that flood-zone lots require.

The process is the same on every job: strip and grade, compact the base, set the vapor barrier and reinforcement, form to the plan, and pour and finish to the tolerance the job needs, machine-troweled for a shop floor, floated for tile, or broom-finished for a carport. We work from your plans or your building manufacturer's foundation drawings, and we work with your inspector's schedule.
